Pre-Orders for the Xbox Series S and the Series X go live tomorrow morning and the excitement is palpable. After dropping a nuclear warhead earlier this morning by announcing their acquisition of Bethesda and all the studios under their umbrella (following the already incredible inclusion of EA-Access into GamePass), the Xbox brand is positioned as one of-if not-the most value for your dollar as a gamer. Stock will go fast, so you better be prepared. Here’s a personal checklist of what you should do and be aware of to be in the best position to score a Series X and/or Series S tomorrow morning:
- Know your time zones and set your clocks accordingly: Click HERE for official details.
- Choose your preferred distributor or retailer:
- Amazon: https://amzn.to/2ElW8Ym
- Microsoft Store: ow.ly/7Cbk30rb5PX
- Best Buy: ow.ly/TyWU30rb5Qu
- Target: ow.ly/482F30rb5QL
- GameStop: ow.ly/39Qp30rb5Ra
- Walmart: ow.ly/xNNh30rb5RT
- Make sure your delivery address and payment methods are up to date.
- Have a trusted family member or friend on standby just in case.
- Double check participating retailers if you plan to utilize All-Access: Click HERE for details.
- Don’t be discouraged. Microsoft has reportedly allocated 2-3x more units than Sony’s PS5 for its global launch. Even if you miss out tomorrow, there will definitely be another opportunity to snag one just before launch.
- Eat a good breakfast, drink water, and give yourself enough time to settle in and be ready for the rush.
I’ve made my plans to secure my Series X tomorrow and may even spring for an S via all-access as a gift to my nephew. I hope that EVERYONE excited about Xbox’s next generation of gaming are successful tomorrow. Here’s to gaming, friends!
